German-headquartered 3D game engine firm Trinigy, developer of the Vision Engine 6 engine, has revealed new license deals with companies including Ping, Dtp Entertainment, KranX and Zappsace, who will develop games and simulations based on the Vision engine. Trinigy's Vision Engine has already been employed by companies such as Atari, Take Two, NeoWiz, and Threewave in game development. According to the company, more than 60 titles globally have been built using the engine, covering an array of genres such as first-person shooters, role-playing games, and massively multiplayer online games. Trinigy also says it anticipates an all-time high for its revenues, operating profit and new licensees for the current fiscal year, thanks to Vision Engine 6 and the new deals. The Vision Engine 6 was recently named as a finalist in Game Developer's Frontline Awards, in the Engine category. Trinigy managing partner Dag Frommhold says, "Since its formation in 2003, Trinigy has experienced continuous growth, financed entirely through revenues, and is operating profitably. Thanks both to our loyal long-term customers and the many new Vision licensees in 2007, we now expect to exceed the ambitious goals we have set ourselves for this year. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to all our customers and partners we have successfully been working with in the last few years.”
