Sega has confirmed the lineup of titles across multiple platforms that it will have on display at the upcoming Games Convention in Leipzig, including the PlayStation 3 exclusive
Full Auto 2: Battlelines, and the newly renamed
Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii.
The company today confirmed that it will have a total of eleven titles on hand at the annual event, which takes place from August 23-27, and will mark the first time many of the games have shown outside of last May's E3. Games scheduled to be playable at the event include
Rome sequel,
Medieval II: Total War for PC, as well as
Sonic The Hedgehog and
Virtua Tennis 3 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 action epic
Yakuza, which was scripted by noted Japanese novelist Hase Seishu, and was released last December in Japan to a positive critical reception.
The show will also mark the European premiere of titles such as PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and PC MMORPG
Phantasy Star Universe,
Sonic Rivals for the PSP, and multiplatform licensed book and film adaptation,
Charlotte's Web.
Finally, the company will be showing a number of high profile next generation offerings behind closed doors, including
Sega Rally,
Sonic The Hedgehog,
Virtua Tennis 3, and the aforementioned
Full Auto 2 for the PlayStation 3, as well as
Sonic and the Secret Rings (formerly
Sonic Wildfire) and
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz for the Wii.
