The Xbox 360 version of
Bioshock has maintained its position at the top of the new individual format charts in the UK, with
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 being the only new release to enter the top ten this week.
Although the PC version of
Bioshock slipped two places to number four, the game remained at the top of the combined formats charts with only a 39 percent drop in sales, while
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 is at number two.
Back in the individual formats chart, the Xbox 360 version of
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 was the top seller at number five with 42 percent of all sales for the title, closely followed by the Wii version at number nine with 39 percent of all sales. The PlayStation 2 version though entered as low as number twenty-four with 17 percent of sales.
The highest new entry outside of the top fourteen was
Medieval II: Total War – Kingdoms at number fourteen (the success of the expansion also saw the original game re-enter the charts at number thirty-three).
Kingdoms is one of two new PC expansion packs in the top forty, with massively multiplayer online addition
Guild Wars: Eye of the North debuting at number sixteen.
The Xbox 360 version of
Stuntman: Ignition, from new publisher THQ, entered the charts at number eighteen, with the PlayStation 2 version at number thirty-seven. Meanwhile, Electronic Arts’ Wii exclusive
Boogie made a relatively disappointing new entry at number twenty-one.
Under-stocked since its launch in Europe,
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition reappeared in the charts at number twenty-three, with
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii also re-entering the charts at number thirty-nine.
At the same time,
Big Brain Academy for Wii moves twelve places up the chart to number four as it too is restocked after initial supplies were exhausted. Conversely stock for
Wii Play has again begun to run out, with what is usually the best selling Wii title falling twenty-one places to number twenty-six.
