Representatives of IGN and THQ have announced a new agreement that will bring a "broad catalog" of THQ PC titles to IGN's Direct2Drive digital distribution service, as already seen with
STALKER and
Supreme Commander.
STALKER and
Supreme Commander were given simultaneous release on the service and at retail under the terms of the agreement, which will see more THQ titles being added to Direct2Drive over the coming months.
IGN says the latest deal sees THQ added to a "AAA roster" of publishers which also includes: Atari, Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Namco, NCsoft, Sega, Sony Online Entertainment, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal Games and 2K Games.
