Robomodo, Buzz Monkey Using NaturalMotion's Morpheme For Tony Hawk: Ride

NaturalMotion says that Activision's Tony Hawk: Ride, developed by Chicago-based Robomodo, is using its Morpheme animation engine and graphical authoring tool. The Morpheme middleware lets developers author and preview blends, blend trees and transition graphs in realtime, the company explains. It's also aimed to enhance graphical realism in character animations. NaturalMotion sales VP Christian Staack says the tool is suited to the "standard of realism" for which Robomodo is aiming with the peripheral-equipped skateboard simulation game. Robomodo is developing Tony Hawk: Ride for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A Wii version of the game is in development by Buzz Monkey Software, and NaturalMotion says Buzz Monkey is also using Morpheme for its version.
