Major publisher and developer Electronic Arts and Montreal-based in-flight entertainment company DTI Software have announced a global partnership to make available
The Sims 2, as well as select titles from the company's subscription casual games site Pogo.com to airlines worldwide.
In addition to the ever-popular
The Sims 2, Pogo.com titles identified for the new deal include
Poppit!, Word Whomp, Phlinx, Tri-Peaks Solitaire, Harvest Mania, Tumble Bees, Great Escapes Solitaire, and
Turbo 21. Pogo.com currently offers over 100 casual games in genres varying from arcade to puzzle games.
DTI, which supplies in-flight entertainment to 62 separate airlines, noted that with this new deal it is “focusing on delivering next-generation content which will raise the bar for quality and provide an even greater level of entertainment” to its customers. Currently, DTI boasts a catalogue of over 90 games and applications, including
Tetris and
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.
