Mobile games and lifestyle company Hands-On Mobile announced that it has appointed Keith McCurdy to the position of president of studios and products. McCurdy joined Hands-On Mobile on July 17 and will be responsible for the company's worldwide games and product strategies, including the management of all development studios and relationships with licensing partners.
McCurdy was most recently president and CEO of California-based mobile game publisher Blaze Entertainment. Prior to heading up Blaze Entertainment, McCurdy was a 10-year veteran of Electronic Arts, where he held a variety of positions, such as vice president of product development, vice president of technology, vice president of online, and director of the advanced technology group. He was also responsible for the creation of Electronic Arts' Online Division.
"Keith is an experienced executive who has demonstrated his ability to bring vision to the mobile entertainment space," said Hands-On Mobile's President and Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Sacks. "His deep experience in games will ensure our objective of delivering the highest-quality games to our customers. Additionally, Keith is a seasoned leader whose skills at defining and attacking markets will bolster our already excellent management team."
