TRACK / FORMAT: Business and Management / Roundtable

DESCRIPTION: This roundtable will bring together business leaders and educators in the Game Developer Industry to discuss initiatives to increase the pipeline of diverse talent available to the industry. The roundtable will include business executives who will share how their organizations source, select and ensure a diverse candidate pool and educators who have developed programs that provide education and skills to underserved or minority communities to supply talent for the industry. The roundtable will also discuss how to benchmark and track minority progress within the Industry.

TAKEAWAY: Participants will leave the session with a high level knowledge of strategies to increase the diverse pipeline of talent at their firms; an understanding of programs that they can support or participant within to gain skills and knowledge to enter the industry and contacts to build partnerships with the industry.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Business and minority leaders interested in collaborating on ideas and programs to increase the diversity of the game developer community.
