Location: Gainesville, Florida

Since 2007, War Drum Studios has been a small video game studio based in Gainesville, FL, respected and sought out to work on the best franchises in the business. Our focus is on creating technology for new platforms, enjoying a variety of projects, and emphasizing work life balance. By staying small we focus on new ideas quickly, we keep skills sharp, and we deliver great games to tens of millions of players. We are looking for talented programmers to join us to work on consoles, PC, and mobile alike. Do some smart coding, soak up the great weather in northern Florida, and help us strive towards the best work environment in games!

Job Details

We are looking for someone with complete fluency in C++, and a demonstrable mastery of UnrealEngine 4, including use of the Editor and Blueprints. You will be working on one of the most successful UE4 games to date.

Your best shot at having a great and enjoyable job with us is to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, own your code, and enjoy difficult challenges. You must enjoy people and working on a small team. Pair programming is not uncommon here and occurs naturally based on tasks and varying expertise.

  • Must be eligible to work full-time in the United States.

  • Final Interviews are in person and all work is in office.

  • We will pay relocation and travel fees.

  • You must be available to start between November 2016 through January 2017.
