Project management and QA tool company Hansoft has announced the latest edition of its Hansoft production management tool, with additions geared for teams using agile development methods. In the new release, teams can choose to view the product backlog in three different ways depending on situation and preference. The QA functionality has also been upgraded with the needs of larger studios and publishers in mind, adding more advanced bug workflow settings and detailed access and restriction rules. Agile teams can work with product backlog items in a hierarchy that can be shared and delegated among team members and externals. They can also analyze, create and work with items by arranging them on a virtual wall. In the wall view, items can be sorted and prioritized before they are moved from the backlog to a sprint or iteration phase. In addition to the bug workflow improvements, the newest edition of Hansoft adds detailed access and restriction rules that allow or restrict group access to data, bug deletion, workflow customization and other components.
