Technical ProducerGearbox Software

Location: Frisco, TX

Gearbox Software is looking for a full-time Technical Producer.  This Producer will have a background in programming and will work closely with the programming and production teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with and provide production support to the Core Tech Team

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Coordinates technical goals and requirements with other departments

  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day tasking and change requests

  • Prepares team work schedules and evaluates task loading

  • Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards

  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

  • Able to work with creative people in high pressure situations

Requirements:

  • College degree and 2+ years of experience in production and programming

  • A strong technical background

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with task creation and tracking

  • Ability to prioritize effectively

  • One or more shipped titles to your credit

  • Understanding of the software development life cycle

  • Ability to plan and manage workload, under deadlines, and within a budget.

  • Software development experience in games
