Technical Producer, Gearbox Software
Location: Frisco, TX
Gearbox Software is looking for a full-time Technical Producer. This Producer will have a background in programming and will work closely with the programming and production teams.
Responsibilities:
Communicates with and provide production support to the Core Tech Team
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Coordinates technical goals and requirements with other departments
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
Manages day-to-day tasking and change requests
Prepares team work schedules and evaluates task loading
Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Able to work with creative people in high pressure situations
Requirements:
College degree and 2+ years of experience in production and programming
A strong technical background
Excellent communication skills
Experience with task creation and tracking
Ability to prioritize effectively
One or more shipped titles to your credit
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Ability to plan and manage workload, under deadlines, and within a budget.
Software development experience in games
