Search for a Spark of Hope in Torchlight: Infinite

July 23, 2022 - Following its unveiling at the TapTap Presents conference, X.D inc is excited to announce that the open beta for ARPG Torchlight: Infinite is launching in October! Pre-registration for iOS is open now, and a CG trailer just launched that gives players a taste of what to expect in this new installment of the Torchlight legacy.

As seen in the CG trailer, Torchlight: Infinite is all about finding hope in the darkness. Based on lore from the original Torchlight, players can experience a new story in an apocalyptic era where danger lurks around every corner. A team of Torchlight heroes are on a mission to prevent an invasion of darkness and protect innocents who have been forced from their homes. The colorful trailer also reveals key characters including the Aemberons, evil creatures born from the Aember, and the Sparks, the hope of the world of Torchlight.

Torchlight: Infinite allows players to create their own unique builds and combat styles through combining different skills, talents, gear, and hero traits. Each character in Torchlight: Infinite comes with 3 different hero traits, along with the game’s 230+ skills and the Six Gods Talent System, allowing for players to progress their hero as they see fit. Throughout the game, players are encouraged to explore the nearly endless possibilities with building their hero, enjoying incredibly diverse combat techniques.

In Torchlight: Infinite, players are able to obtain precious loot from grinds, instead of having to rely on a stamina system or daily quests. The rarer the gear, the more unique and powerful the affixes are. Torchlight: Infinite also has an in-game trading system where all items can be traded to other players.

Unique in personality and rich in charisma, the heroes of Torchlight: Infinite are dedicated to restoring light to the land of Leptis. Soon players can meet the sixth hero, Oracle Thea, a goddess with magical powers who has a strong connection to the moon. In “Beyond Destiny,” players can get a glimpse into the future through Thea’s eyes and see the danger that lies ahead.
