Publisher Red Mile (Jackass: The Game, Heroes Over Europe) has announced a "significant reorganization," appointing former International Development Group consultant Simon Price as its new president. Price replaces former EA Canada president Glenn Wong, who resigned from the Company effective February 29, 2008. The company also said it is changing its product distribution strategy, restructuring operations with the aim of reducing operating costs and improving its distribution model. As part of Red Mile's restructuring plan, it also said its CFO, Company's Chief Financial Officer, Ben Zadik, resigned effective March 1, 2008. Zadik is to remain on board for another 60 days in an advisory capacity. The company recently announced that SimCity co-creator and Maxis co-founder Jeff Braun had joined its strategic advisory team, calling his appointment "the latest in a series of key strategic moves." In December 2007, the studio secured the rights to develop a game based on Frank Miller's Sin City comics, for which it also licensed Epic's Unreal Engine 3. Commented Price, "Red Mile is at a critical stage in its progression as a publisher of world-class game franchises. We are making changes to streamline costs while increasing our focus on the development of high-quality games. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Chester and the Red Mile team during this transition."
