Lumisource Introduces Boom Chair and Boom Cube

Lumisource, manufacturers of furniture and contemporary lighting from Elk Grove Village, Illinois, have announced the creation of the Boom Chair and Boom Cube furniture set, specifically designed for gamers. The Boom Chair and Boom Cube are a sound-powered chair and footrest that work with game audio to provide an immersive environment while reclining. According to the press release, the Boom products "do more than provide sound for games. Since the sound system is built into the product, sound rumbles through your body, creating an immersive sensation as every crash and explosion interacts with you." The Boom Chair and Boom Cube are designed at affordable price points to provide gamers a quality sound system and game seat. Lumisource will begin showing the line in January of 2005, with shipments expected in stores by June.
