Sega characters from Sonic The Hedgehog and Super Monkey Ball will be packaged in video game form with McDonald's Happy Meals starting June 27th.
An industry first, six different, interactive electronic handheld Happy Meal games will mark the first time a quick-service retailer has offered handheld video games to consumers. The games have been specially designed for kid-sized hands and motor skills. The six games featured are: Sonic's Speedway, Shadow Grinder,Knuckles Soccer, Sonic Action Game, AiAi Banana Catch, and Tails Sky Patrol. The Sega Happy Meal games will be available from June 27, 2003 to July 24, 2003 at participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide.
