Toysrus.com began offering the consoles at 2pm PDT on Monday, in various game bundles at a total price of $399. All units were gone by 2:04pm, the company said. A big question, however, went unanswered: how many units that represents. Toys R Us did not reveal that information, making it impossible to compare Gamecube demand to pre-orders for the Xbox and PS2. Nintendo has stated that it intends to ship 700,000 units at the Gamecube's launch.
