First-Half December Sales Results: PS2 Games Dominate

At the top of the list was Take-Two's Grand Theft Auto 3 for the PS2, which received publicity for its violence and sexual content. In total, the PS2 had eight of top 20 games on the list, while the Gamecube had two (Pikmin and Super Smash Bros. Melee), and the Xbox had just one game, Halo. The PSone and the Game Boy Advance had four games apiece on the list, and the Game Boy Color took one spot as well.
