Atlus U.S.A. has announced it will publish Persona 3: Fes, a previously Japan-only additional chapter to the 2007 RPG Persona 3, on April 22nd, 2008. Fes adds an additional chapter and some 30 hours of gameplay to the game's story, following the characters of Persona 3 in the aftermath of the game's ending. Atlus notes that Fes is a stand-alone product that plays as a full game, and does not require the original Persona 3 to play. However, users can transfer certain save data, such as their Persona compendium, to be used in the new chapter. Persona 3: Fes will also contain an enhanced version of the original game that adds new personas and cutscenes, a weapon synthesis system, original quests and events, a hard difficulty mode, and the ability to change characters' clothes.
