Newsbrief: The beta version of the Unity 5 engine is now available to anyone who pre-orders, and to Unity Pro subscribers.
Originally revealed back in March, Unity 5 houses numerous new features including an overhauled lighting system, and direct build-to-browser via the WebGL standard, which means that in the future, a browser plug-in will not be required to play Unity games.
Anyone who pre-orders Unity 5 will be able to download the beta, and immediately begin testing out the new workflows and features.
