Reactive Studios, a company focused around creating unique narrative-driven experiences for mobile, has hired former Telltale design director and head writer Dave Grossman as its new CCO. Grossman is a veteran designer of the video game industry, having previously worked as a designer and writer at Lucasarts, prior to his nine year stint at Telltale. Now at Reactive, Grossman will be looking to take his knowledge of the narrative space in games and apply it to his new company's upcoming voice-operated interactive experiments. Reactive has been exploring the possibilites of narrative on mobile, most recently with the Kickstarted Codename Cygnus. The studio is currently focusing on episodic distribution of these interactive stories, much in the same manner as Telltale. "I'm looking forward to exploring the uncharted waters of interactive audio and establishing principles for a new storytelling medium," Grossman noted. "The narrative design challenges are unique and intriguing, and there's a lot of fun to be had here, for me and the audience both."
