Summer Games Done Quick concluded on Saturday with a speedrun of classic Super Nintendo RPG Chrono Trigger; the event's fundraising total reached over $1.2 million -- handily besting last year's total of around $700,000. Money raised is donated to Doctors Without Borders.

That compares favorably to the event's winter iteration, Awesome Games Done Quick, which raised over $1.5 million dollars for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

If you're interested in watching any of the speedruns, users of the r/speedrun reddit have put together a handy list of all the videos.

This year's sponsors included The Yetee, TinyBuild, Capcom, World 9 Gaming, Something Artistic, Power Up Audio, Alienware, and Humble Bundle.
