Newsbrief: Sony has introduced a new scheme called 'PS3 Ultimate Deals', through which it is looking to boost digital sales of full games and downloadable content. A selection of big-name retail titles, bundled with all the available DLC, are to be made available with 30 percent off each week, or 50 percent off for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The initial week's offerings including Mafia II, L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption. Sony has been pushing for growth in digital sales in recent times, making full retail titles available to download for both its PS3 and PS Vita. Most recently pre-loading functionality was added to the PlayStation Network, allowing consumers to purchase and download titles before they are officially released.
