Sony has revealed a new upcoming promotion that will highlight Western game titles in Japan. The World Game Project is set to launch in Tokyo's Akihabara district on July 23 as part of the new World Game Project Festival, as translated by Andriasang. A special demo event will feature Western-developed titles, both recent and upcoming, allowing attendees to both play PlayStation 3 titles and watch footage of some upcoming games. Games available to play will include Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Infamous 2 and Resistance 3. Grasshopper Manufacture's Shadows of the Damned, developed in Japan but not yet released in the region, will also be available to play. An official page on the PlayStation Japan site has been launched, which announces one "Mr. Murata" as the project's spokesperson.
