The original creators of adventure game series Space Quest have formed a new game studio, with the aim to develop a new sci-fi themed point-and-click adventure. Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy, originally both programmers at Sierra On-Line, are well-known for creating the Space Quest series, a science fiction parody franchise that spawned half a dozen titles. Crowe and Murphy have now formed Guys from Andromeda after a 25 year hiatus, with the upcoming game tentatively titled Two Guys Spaceventure. The duo said that it is looking to adapt the adventure gaming genre to match the ways in which people now play games, and will be hiring other developers to help it out. "The way games are made and gotten into a player’s home has changed greatly," the studio explained in a statement. "We are adapting to the changes, taking advantage of them and charting our own course through space and looking forward to finding that 'new game smell.'"
