Leap Motion launches IndieCade-backed game jam with $75,000 in prizes

The winning teams will get a $5,000 cash prize and a slot to exhibit at IndieCade East 2015, with $2,500 in travel expenses also covered.

Newsbrief: PC motion controller manufacturer Leap Motion has teamed up with IndieCade to launch a six-week game jam that kicks off October 19th. The company has committed to awarding $75,000 in prizes, including $30,000 in cash, to developers who make games using its hardware. The winning team will receive a $5,000 cash prize and a slot to exhibit at IndieCade East 2015, with $2,500 in travel expenses also covered. The company will also work with the top teams to promote their games on the Leap Motion App Store.
