Newsbrief: PC motion controller manufacturer Leap Motion
has teamed up with IndieCade to launch a six-week game jam that kicks off October 19th.
The company has committed to awarding $75,000 in prizes, including $30,000 in cash, to developers who make games using its hardware. The winning team will receive a $5,000 cash prize and a slot to exhibit at IndieCade East 2015, with $2,500 in travel expenses also covered.
The company will also work with the top teams to promote their games on the Leap Motion App Store. The jam runs from October 19 to December 1, with finalists announced on December 20 and winners announced on January 10, 2015.
