King's chairman Melvyn Morris has stepped down

Newsbrief: Candy Crush Saga studio King saw its chairman of the board step down this week, with personal reasons cited. Melvyn Morris may rejoin the board at a later date, according to King CEO Riccardo Zacconi. The company did not divulge why the leave of absence was being taken. King has lined up Gerhard Florin (pictured) to replace Morris. Florin has served on King's board of directors since 2010, and has previously worked at game companies like Electronic Arts, Innogames and Funcom.
