Day of the Devs is returning the summer and submissions are now open for anybody looking to take part.

The long-running event will celebrate its 10th anniversary with Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition in partnership with Geoff Keighley.

Organizers Double Fine and iam8bit claim the involvement of Summer Game Fest will allow them to "bring the showcase to life and provide a platform for Indies to reach more audiences than ever before."

They hope Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition will help showcase a smorgasbord of indie games, and are specifically looking for "unique, diverse, and beautiful" projects to spotlight as part of the festival.

If that sounds like something you're working on, submissions will be open until April 8, 2022. Developers from diverse backgrounds are being encouraged to apply, and it's being emphasised that projects of all types and genres will be considered.

You can find the submissions form over on the Day of the Devs website (Google Doc).
