German online games publisher and developer Bigpoint has made an agreement with Russian service provider Mail.Ru Group, allowing both companies to share their games via both of their portals. Mail.Ru users will be able to log in and play select Bigpoint games via the Russian service, such as Battlestar Galactica Online, DarkOrbit and Farmerama. Similarly, European users of the Bigpoint site will have access to games found on the Russian site, including Legend Legacy of the Dragons and Juggernaut. Bigpoint games provided via Mail.Ru will also receive integrated Mail.Ru social features, including Odnoklassniki and My World. Mail.Ru's Vladimir Nikolsky noted that, "Cooperation is the next logical step in our strategy of development." Bigpoint announced earlier this year that it was bringing on former Discovery Networks EMEA managing director Arthur Bastings to oversee the company's German headquarters.
