Uncharted 3, Portal 2, Skyrim receive multiple nominations in 15th AIAS Awards

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has revealed the finalists of its 15th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, which aim to highlight the best video games of 2011. The AIAS is a not-for-profit organization that celebrates creativity in video games worldwide. The IAA ceremony will take place on February 9 as part of the 2012 D.I.C.E. Summit. Valve's Portal 2 has received multiple nominations in various categories including Game of the Year, while Uncharted 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Batman: Arkham City have each received multiple nominations. Martin Rae, president of AIAS, explained, "These games exemplify the highest standard of excellence and quality, from the breathtaking cinematics, to the bold storytelling and the innovative technology."
