The Xbox 360 launch of CD Projekt Red's popular PC RPG
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings saw the title shoot to the top of the UK sales charts.
For the week ended April 21, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, the enhanced version of the critically acclaimed game was the only new release in the top 40.
The title's success ended
FIFA Street's reign of the charts. The soccer game saw sales drop by 30 percent week-over-week, and had previously taken the top spot in the charts for four weeks since its release just over a month ago.
FIFA 12 remained stationary, however, with a 25 percent drop in sales week-over-week, while Microsoft's
Kinect Star Wars also held its ground at number four, with a 33 percent drop in sales.
Last week's number two, EA's
Mass Effect 3, dropped three place to number five with a 40 percent decrease in sales week-over-week. EA now holds half of the top 10 chart, with
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 and
Battlefield 3 featuring in the bottom five.

UK Individual Platforms Top 10
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 took the top of Chart-Track's individual formats top 10 chart, accounting for 98 percent of sales of the game last week.
The rest of the chart remained fairly stationary, with Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of
FIFA Street and
FIFA 12 filling a good portion of the top 10.
