Lucky's Tale, a platformer built from the ground up for virtual reality, will come free with every Oculus Rift headset

This is the second game Oculus is planning on bundling with its headset, with the company having previously announced that EVE: Valkyrie will be included with all pre-orders of the Rift - unlike Lucky's Tale, which will be free whether you pre-order or not.

Playful, the studio behind Lucky's Tale, has been working on VR titles for the majority of its lifespan, having been founded in 2012 before signing a partnership with Oculus VR to develop virtual reality games.

You'll be able to find out exactly how the developer created one of Oculus' flagship titles when Playful's design director, Dan Hurd, and engineer, Evan Reidland, take to the stage at VRDC 2016 to talk about the unexpected delight of third-person virtual reality.
