Newsbrief: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons director and filmmaker Josef Fares has founded a new independent studio, Hazelight, in Stockholm with a handful of ex-Starbreeze compatriots who worked with him on Brothers. This is less than surprising in light of Fares' comments earlier this year that he planned to forego filmmaking in favor of making games because, in his words, "interactivity is the future." Hazelight made its public with a brief promo video (embedded above) at the inaugural Game Awards event in Las Vegas this weekend. Electronic Arts has cut a deal with the studio to publish its first title, and since Fares and his team are still without offices of their own they are (at least temporarily) working out of the DICE office in Stockholm.
