T.J. Summers founded Digital Artist Management (DAM) in 2000 with college buddy Andy Cheren. After graduating with a B.A. in Government from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif., T.J.’s career path lead him to his passion and began scouting video game developers and technical employees for software companies. T.J. eventually co-founded DAM, which has evolved into the premier staffing agency for the video game industry. For the last seven years, T.J. has overseen DAM’s internal recruiting teams, ensuring that they are on track with the company’s daily goals and objectives. In addition to running the day-to-day activities at DAM, T.J. also created, and manages, a secondary arm of the company, DAM Consultants. The consulting firm offers temporary staffing solutions, which allows game and film developers to staff for specific projects quickly, easily and cost effectively.
