Eric Lengyel is the Chief Technology Officer at Terathon Software. He holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics from Virginia Tech and is the author of the book Mathematics for 3D Game Programming & Computer Graphics. Eric previously worked on the OpenGL architecture at Apple Computer and long ago (in programmer years) was the lead programmer for Sierra’s fifth installment of the adventure series Quest for Glory. When he’s not scribbling down equations or tweaking register combiner settings, Eric can usually be found running somewhere in the mountains surrounding Silicon Valley.
