Recently, it seems, everyone is trying to sell me a game engine. Over the past six months, the number of engines available for license has increased significantly.
But with so many to choose from, and so little public information about them, how can I intelligently choose which one to use - let alone whether any of them are appropriate for the game I have in mind!
This blog will focus in on game engines, examining the perceptions, the desires, the pitfalls... attempting to clear the fog that has settled around the game engine scene.
