The Mobile Technical Specialist will be a point person within Sega’s Mobile Development team to handle the on-going maintenance of its current and back-catalog of mobile titles. The Mobile Technical Specialist will interface with the Product Development, Business Development and Marketing teams in order to prioritize and action the group’s technical requests, provide task estimates and report backlog execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Production Responsibilities
a. Facilitate communication within Sega Digital's functional teams in order to maintain a technical backlog.
b. Communicate with external development partners to facilitate the smooth transmission of source code and project maintenance.
c. Work closely with Sega's Quality Assurance team in order to validate game executables prior to game submissions.
d. Work closely with Marketing to ensure first party assets requirements are met.
e. Prepare and present task overviews to Sega Digital's executive staff.
f. This person will also manage the execution of these projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
g. Work with Producers during due diligence stage to ensure external partners meet Sega’s technical requirements
2. Technical Responsibilities
a. Integration and maintenance of advertising, analytics, monetization and social SDKs within Sega's apps, such as iAd, Admob, Flurry, Game Center, Amazon Game Circle and Google Play game services. Integration of other external APIs may also be needed, such as third party controller support, asset resource reorganization, etc…
b. Compiling and verification of source code archives from Sega's external development partners.
c. Provide technical consulting on Sega's ongoing externally developed titles.
