Kakao Games | Amsterdam, The Netherlands — November 9, 2023 | Following the game’s full launch earlier this year and subsequent surge in player numbers, Kakao Games and Nimble Neuron are excited to reveal their plans for Eternal Return Season 2! Expect a new playable character, exciting community events, a bounty of special rewards, and a slew of much-anticipated gameplay improvements. This comes after a large influx of players, especially in France, where the number of recent daily active users has increased by 20X, Eternal Return achieving a peak Twitch viewership of 21,000 in the region.
Eternal Return Season 2 “Battle Maids” will officially launch on November 9th for PC via Steam, leaving behind the beach parties and bikinis of Season 1 for something a little more prim and proper. Prepare to welcome the Housekeeper Corp. with a quartet of new looks for fan favorites Fiora, Aya, Rozzi, and Bernice. Don’t let their formal attire fool you - Eternal Return’s roster of characters are dressed to kill!

Alongside these new cosmetics and other Season 2 content, players can expect improvements to the core game experience. In response to community feedback, the following improvements will soon be rolled out for Eternal Return:

  • Matchmaking algorithm improvements

  • Temporary safe zone improvements

  • Collect from adjacent corpses at once

  • Escape Votes and Area Visibility improvements

  • Ping Types & improvements

  • Spectating UI improvements (after being eliminated)

These improved features come just in time as Eternal Return welcomes Test Subject 69, Leni, who will be released on November 9th. This exciting new character can rush to support her allies in team fights, boasting a colorful arsenal of toy weapons and gadgets. To celebrate her arrival, Eternal Return will host a Leni Play Event between November 9th and December 6th with missions to complete and rewards to unlock including the Taunty Leni Skin, and Taunty Leni Profile Icon.
