Turbo Squid Announces Latest Discreet Certified 3DS Max Plug-in, hairfx

Turbo Squid today announced the newest Discreet Certified 3DS Max Plug-in, hairfx from Dimension Design Animation Group (DDAG). Notable features include: the ability to create high-quality hair and fur through two powerful atmospheric plug-ins, a new, high quality anti-aliasing engine, the ability to select multiple emission locations for natural hair or fur growth, and interoperability with other DCP tools including finalRender Stage-1 and clothfx. hairfx carries a MSRP of $595, with a discounted introductory price of $495 for orders placed before September 1, 2004. Existing users of Shag:Hair may upgrade to hairfx at no cost by sending their serial number to [email protected].
