The publisher has recently announced that former Rockstar Games COO and former Capcom European managing director Gary Dale would step into the role of the company's executive vice president, and said he would focus on new online and casual initiatives as well as pushing further into Asia and Latin America. Said 2K president Christoph Hartmann, "We’re focused on continuing to bring new brands and cutting-edge gameplay to market with the creation of the 2K Marin studio. 2K Marin will build upon our success in creating and leveraging AAA franchises."
