The renaming of the Sega games extends an existing relationship that began in May 2002, when Sega signed a deal to include ESPN logos, graphics and music in its sport titles. Sega sports games will adopt the ESPN tag in the following fashion beginning later this summer: 'ESPN Basketball', 'ESPN Football', etc. The games will feature ESPN anchors providing in-game commentary as well as music and statistics panels in ESPN's style.
