Quantum3D Completes Mezzanine Funding Round

Quantum3D closed a successful mezzanine funding round that included investments by Tech Farm, West Coast Ventures, Charter Capital Ventures, Chase Ventures and 3Dfx. Quantum3D also announced a technology and business alliance with 3Dfx Interactive. Under the terms of the joint agreement, Quantum3D will be the exclusive supplier of 3Dfx's Voodoo3 technology to the visual simulation and coin-op markets. Quantum3D will also supply future 3Dfx technologies to those markets. The joint agreement outlines an expanded working relationship between Quantum3D and 3Dfx. The companies will collaborate on technical development, marketing programs and cross licensing agreements.
