A solitary new entry in the top ten US PC games sales chart further illustrates the moribund state of the market for the last several months. The situation should change dramatically during March, with the release of Battlefield Vietnam, Unreal Tournament 2004, Far Cry and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero but after so many months of inactivity – and apparently more to come after – the decision by publishers to launch so many big name titles at the same time seems ill-advised.
