The companies will co-develop workflow and analysis tools that can be accessed directly from 3ds max, allowing artists to send files using the NXN alienbrain internal messaging system, assign a status to files and sign-off on completed files, locking them from further changes. A file analysis tool will be added later in the year. To promote the NXN/Discreet integration, the Discreet reseller network and NXN's direct sales force will offer a bundle of the two technologies in North America. The Discreet and NXN bundle is expected to be available to artists in early September 2003. For more information, go to www.discreet.com or www.nxn-software.com.
