Microsoft intends to up the ante on local multiplayer by facilitating up to eight concurrent wireless controller inputs on the Xbox One. As detailed today in officially released documentation, the next-generation console promises "over 40 improvements" to the official wireless gamepad, including the boosted number of controller inputs. Other features include extending the wireless controller's effective range (up to 30 feet, according to documentation), and improved joystick and directional pad precision.
