In this week's Gamasutra video interview, editor Mike Rose talks to Casper van Est of DoubleDutch Games and Tom Brien of TinyBuild Games about Speedrunners, a game that can essentially be described as a 2D platforming version of Micro Machines.

Since the game is online multiplayer only, the team is looking to break "The Curse of the Indie Multiplayer Game" through numerous different community-based avenues. The devs talk at length about their plans.
