In this post I will tell you a little about two of the biggest events in Latin America of Game Development (including one of the most important contests around the world). I’m talking about the COIDEV and the GDWC LATAM, both organized by ArtiGames, a highly recognized videogame developer company and its School of Digital Arts (ArtiGames CED).

First, we have the International Game Developers Conference (COIDEV), which is given annually in the city of Lima, Peru, where you’ll have the pleasure of meeting and listening to the most valuable professionals of the industry, those who have been part of the Development Team and Marketing/Sales area of the biggest hits in the world of videogames and 3D animation (at COIDEV 2012, ArtiGames brought the Videogames Advisor of the White House and the Art Director of Need for Speed -EA-), so they can share their experiences with young new talents of the industry and those who are very interested in the subject. You can take a look at www.coidev.com for more information.

On the other hand, the GDWC LATAM contest is the Latin-American version of the GDWC (Game Developers World Championship) that is held in Helsinki, Finland, gathering a fabulous jury (Microsoft, Rovio, Ubisoft, ArtiGames) and different development teams from around the globe with one common vision, winning the first prize. ArtiGames has been entrusted to organize and held the event every year at the city of Lima, Peru. You can get more information about it at www.crearjuegos3d.com and www.gdwc2014.com

Now it’s up to you, so do not miss the opportunity to find out more of these great events and to participate in the contest, either as a team or individually, and, if you can, attend the COIDEV, you won’t regret it ;) ...
