Every month there are countless opportunities for indie game developers that aren't taken advantage of. To hopefully change that, here's a list of the opportunities available at time of writing that developers could consider applying for:
Funding
[Global] Magic Leap Independent Creator Program offering grants up to $500k - plus free hardware :)
Deadline 15th December.
[Global] Games Finance Market
Deadline 8 February. Flagship application-only B2B market during London Games Festival, connecting 60 games studios with 60 global games investors.
[Europe] Creative Europe funding €150k funding for development of narrative games
Deadline 27th Feb 2019. Awards of up to €150,000 and must be 50% match funded. For the development of narrative video games from concept to playable prototype.
[Global] BitTorrent owner Tron opens $100 million fund for blockchain games

Deadline 19th December. A festival of experimental game design as part of London Games Festival, particularly interested in games and activities that relate to the theme of community.
