Though his education and professional background is in theatre, film and television production, Randy spent five years working for Sierra On-Line during the period leading up to the demise of the Oakhurst, California studio. He arrived through the back door of interactive entertainment as a video specialist working on building the Sierra On-Line video production facility in Oakhurst, California, and worked as the Camera/Lighting person on Phantasmagoria and then Director of Photography on Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within. For the last three years of his time with Sierra On-Line he worked in game design. He has worked off-and-on in the interactive industry since then for a total of about ten years. Most recently he worked as dialogue tree writer/designer for EA's MMOG Earth and Beyond. Having a background in drama has given him a unique perspective of interactive entertainment.
