Nicolas Tsingos holds a permanent research position in the REVES research project at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France. Previously, he was a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, NJ, USA. His current research interests include realistic audio simulation for complex virtual environments, algorithmic tools for interactive architectural acoustics, and scalable solutions for audio rendering leveraging perceptual knowledge of human hearing. He holds a MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. In 2001, he organized and co-chaired the Campfire on Acoustic Rendering for Virtual Environments, sponsored by ACM Siggraph and Eurographics.
