>Damon Brown has been a contributor to Gamasutra since he covered the First IGF and interviewed Shigeru Miyamoto at the 1999 GDC. He likes the fact that when he spends hours playing games he can call it "research and reporting." An avid supporter of independent game development, he creates PC computer games when he isn’t writing about them. Damon received his Masters in Magazine Publishing at Northwestern University in August 2000 and currently works as a freelance writer in Chicago.
